Firstly, we are operating a bit differently these days. We are scheduling fewer patients per day to limit the number of patients in the office at a given time, as well as provide added time to clean and disinfect between patients. Secondly, we ask that you do not bring anyone to your appointment with you (minors with one parent, excepted). If you have a driver, please have them drop you off, and we can call them to return when we are finishing your treatment. Finally, we will ask a series of questions about your current health and travel and take your temperature and pulse/oxygen levels when you arrive. We ask that if you are experiencing any unusual symptoms or have been in contact with anyone with Covid or any of its symptoms, that you reschedule your treatment for a later date. Please wear a mask that covers your nose and mouth when you come for your appointment. We appreciate your cooperation in our efforts to keep everyone safe.
We understand that you may be apprehensive about dental treatment during a pandemic -- rest assured, your health and safety (as well as ours) is our highest priority! Because of the airborne and persistent nature of the Covid virus, we've implemented several redundant systems to eliminate airborne and surface bacteria and viruses. Coupled with our rigorous sterilization procedures, we're confident you won't find cleaner air or a more sterile treatment setting anywhere! Please read below to learn about new additions to our office and cleaning protocols to keep you safe.
RGF Air Purification System
We've installed the award-winning RGF in-duct air purifiers in all of our HVAC units. They not only purify the air but also actively eliminate viruses on surfaces through zinc-ion technology. Its dual ionizers reduce airborne particulates as well as killing 99% of bacteria, mold, and viruses. Approved for hospital use, the Reme Halo is an award-winning system capable of purifying every cubic inch of air that an HVAC system reaches. In fact, the Reme reduces sneeze germs by 99% in the time a sneeze can reach three feet!

Surgically Clean Air
We've added Surgically Clean Air units in our waiting room and each of our treatment rooms. These units move air through an industry-leading air purification system that incorporates 6 different technologies which include, Hydroxyl, UV and electronic cell Catalytics, purifying and refreshing the air, and eliminating viruses less than 0.1 Microns. Tested globally and peer-reviewed, its centrifugal fans draw air in where it passes through a pre-filter, an electronic cell, an activated carbon filter, chemical filter, and a UV-PHOTO catalytic/negation-Ion sterilization chamber. Purified, energized air is then released back into the room.
This extraoral suction system collects aerosols, droplets, dust and pathogens (produced during treatment) through a suction mouthpiece hood placed near the patients' mouth. Particulate matter is then filtrated by the dust/particulate filter. The HEPA filter captures particles down to 0.3 micros with 99.995% efficiency. Additionally, UVC lights are positioned on the HEPA filter which kill any remaining bacteria and viruses captured by the HEPA filter. Clean, dry air is then exhausted at the base of the unit.
We've added NeverGerms antimicrobial covers to all our door handles and other high-touch surfaces. These antimicrobial "skins" turn any surface into a self-cleaning and self-sanitizing surface, immediately eliminating bacteria and viruses. NeverGerms create a cleaner and safer surface, effective 24/7 for up to six months.
Protexus Electrostatic Sprayer
Once our treatment rooms have been cleaned using traditional methods, we then use the Protexus electrostatic sprayer which coats surfaces with 360 degree coverage. The sprayer dispenses a disinfecting solution that is not only safer for humans and the environment, but delivers 3x more surface coverage than traditional cleaning alone, sanitizing every surface and eliminating any sign of bacteria and viruses.
